Transurethral Incision of the Prostate (TUIP) for BPE

TUIP is a type of surgery for men with smaller prostates (usually less than 40 grams). Instead of removing prostate tissue like TURP, the surgeon makes a small cut at the bladder neck near the urethra to help urine flow more easily.

This chapter provides general information about TUIP for BPE. It is not a replacement for professional medical advice or treatment. Always consult your doctor or healthcare provider for guidance on your individual medical situation.
