Localised primary urethral cancer means the cancer is only in the urethra and hasn’t spread. Treatment is different for men and women.

Your doctor will suggest a treatment that tries to remove all the cancer while helping you maintain a good quality of life. The location of the tumour plays a big role in choosing the right treatment.
